97ɫ Connects with communities!

Published: 19/11/2024

97ɫ is reaching out and connecting with people to find out how they think Connects Centres can be used to meet their own needs and those of others in our local communities.

Connects Centres are in town centres and provide face to face support on a range of Council services, the team also provide digital support to those who need it. Some Centres share space with other public services like North Wales Police and JobCentrePlus. More information about 97ɫ Connects can be found on the Council’s website.

Cabinet member for Corporate Services, Councillor Linda Thomas said:

“We know Connects Centres are highly valued by the people they serve, particularly those who have difficulty getting online or accessing Council services by telephone. However, since the COVID-19 pandemic not as many people are accessing the centres and we would like to hear from as many people as possible to find out why.

It doesn’t matter whether you already use a Connects Centre or have never set foot through the door, your views and opinions are important to us and will help inform our review.”

People who use Facebook are likely to see a link to the survey pop up in their feed over the coming weeks. If you don’t use Facebook or have missed the link you can access the online survey below. Those people who are unable to complete the survey online can visit any Connects Centre where support will be available. Connects Centres are open 9am to 4.30pm on the following days:

  • Buckley: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
  • Connah’s Quay, Flint and Holywell: Monday to Friday
  • Mold: Monday, Wednesday, Friday

When all responses have been considered and decisions have been made the outcomes will be published on the Council’s website.
