The Register Office will close at 2pm on Tuesday 24 December 2024 and a reduced level of service will operate until 9:30am on Thursday 2 January 2025, opening as required for the registration of births, deaths, and marriages.

Housing Repairs
We are open from 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday excluding Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day. Please be aware we are only providing an emergency service on 27th, 30th and 31st December. If your repair request or need for service is not an emergency, please either call back on or after the 2nd January or visit our website to log your repair. If your repair is an emergency, please continue to hold and we will endeavor to answer your call as soon as possible.

We are open from 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday excluding Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Years Day.
Please be aware that over the Christmas period your waste and recycling may be collected at a different time or on a slightly different day to your usual scheduled collection. Due to an increase in recycling volumes over the holiday period, recycling such as cardboard and plastics may not all be collected at the same time and could be collected by separate vehicles. Can you please ensure that any large cardboard packaging is reduced down in size to ensure it fits in the collection vehicle.
If you have additional recycling to dispose of please take to your nearest Household Recycling Centre.
