As part of the investment programme, eligible businesses have been able to apply for grants up to £50,000 to cover up to as much as 70% of the costs of property improvements.

Prior to the funding being awarded, 88-90 High Street, Connah’s Quay, had been disused for 18 months and had fallen into disrepair. Now housing Full Circle Security Systems Ltd, the building has been refurbished to a high standard. Windows, doors, and the roof have been replaced to modern energy efficient specifications and further work has been undertaken to improve both the look and resilience of the building inside and out and make it more fit for purpose. In addition to this, Full Circle Security Systems Ltd have fully refurbished office spaces above their offices that they are now utilising for the growing business.

Building and business owner Daniel Farrell said: “The injection of capital from the grant scheme greatly contributed to the momentum and success of the development. The new premises is much more fit for purpose and the improvements will give us a better working environment and more space to grow our business.”

In addition to the property improvements, the business has benefited from the Business Support Project. 97ɫ’s regeneration team has commissioned Save the High Street to run this project using their expertise and experience.

As part of the project, each business goes through a health-check where every aspect of their operation is analysed. Save the High Street then assists and supports in improving aspects of the business or moving them forward in their business goals.

Full Circle Security Systems Ltd has recently completed their 8-week bespoke programme of support.
