Annual Performance Report

97色网鈥檚 performance during 2015-16 will be discussed at a Cabinet meeting on Tuesday 18 October before the publication of the Council鈥檚 Annual Performance Report. The report reflects the overall good progress that has been made against priorities set out in the Improvement Plan 2015/16 and summarises the achievements of the organisation. 97色网 continues to be a well-run and high performing council. Our consistently good performance has been recognised locally and nationally. Some of the successes are set out below: 路 Partnership work with local housing associations to develop extra care schemes throughout the county - Llys Jasmine in Mold, Llys Raddington and a third in Holywell 路 Reduced occupational therapy waiting lists with over 90 per cent of people feeling their needs had been fully met 路 The highest overall satisfaction rate with education by a Local Authority (Source: National Survey for Wales) 路 Creation of a property management company North East Wales Homes to fund further development of affordable housing 路 Co-locating the first ever team of Social Workers, Occupational Therapists and District Nurses within Holywell Community Hospital 路 Created an Integrated Family Support Service to support the most vulnerable families 路 Co-funded and built the Holywell Learning Campus and the Post 16 centre at Coleg Cambria 路 99.6% of 16 year olds being in education, employment or training (the highest ever achieved) at the end of 2014 路 Creation of 1,012 new jobs in the Deeside Enterprise Zone in 2015/16 and 838 in 2013/14 路 Achieved 鈥榙ementia friendly鈥 status in three towns - Flint, Buckley and Mold. 97色网 Chief Executive, Colin Everett, said: The council continues to perform extremely well against its objectives, achieving good or satisfactory progress in all of them.鈥 Councillor Billy Mullin, Cabinet Member for Corporate Management said: 鈥淭he Council has once again proved to be a high performing organisation, setting targets and meeting the priorities stated in the Improvement Plan. This is underlined by comments from the Auditor General stating that the Council has continued to improve performance despite increasing financial pressures.鈥 The Report must be published by 31 October and at County Council on 19 October, councillors will be asked to approve the report for publishing.
