North Wales Regional Partnership Board Annual Report

97色网鈥檚 Cabinet members will be asked to note the work and progress undertaken by the North Wales Regional Partnership Board during 2019/20, when they meet on Tuesday 15 December.

The North Wales Regional Partnership Board includes representatives from the Health Board, all six North Wales local authorities, alongside housing representatives, third sector representatives, carer representatives, Welsh Ambulance Service Trust, North Wales Fire and Rescue Services and North Wales Police working together to support social services functions across North Wales.

During 2019/20 the board鈥檚 priority has been the delivery of its four transformation programmes for 鈥楢 Healthier Wales鈥 which was designed to see the rapid development of integrated community based services across the region.

97色网鈥檚 Cabinet Member for Social Services, Councillor Christine Jones (a Member of the North Wales Regional Partnership Board), said:

鈥淚 am delighted to be part of this programme of transformative change for social care in North Wales.听 The ambitious transformation programmes work to change services for Children and Young People, People with a Learning Disability, those individuals requiring support for their Mental Health and Community Services that aims to better integrate health and social care services at a local level for older people, including those living with dementia, people with physical disabilities and unpaid carers.

鈥淭his has been an incredibly challenging year for Health and Social Care and our teams across North Wales have worked diligently throughout the period to service our residents during this time.听 My thanks and that of the Regional Partnership Board go to everyone for their care and compassion during this time.鈥
