Cycle to Work Scheme

97色网鈥檚 Cycle to Work scheme is back and running between 09 February 2015 and 27 February 2015. Cycle to Work is a Tax and National Insurance free scheme to help promote healthier journeys to work and reduce pollution and congestion. By taking part in the scheme employees can save an average of up to 25 per cent off the cost of a bike in tax and NI contributions, depending on a person鈥檚 income tax band. The Council aims to show the benefits of a Cycle to Work scheme and encourage other employers to offer their employees alternative transport choices and promote cycling as a part of a daily active and healthy lifestyle. Employers of all sizes across the public, private and voluntary sectors can implement a tax exempt loan scheme for their employees. 97色网 in conjunction with P & MM, an award winning marketing services agency that specialises in performance improvement, launched its first opportunity to take part in the scheme in August 2009. Since the launch of the scheme approximately 340 employees have participated in the scheme. Councillor Bernie Attridge, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Environment said: 鈥淭he Cycle to Work scheme has great benefits from improving health to helping the environment. The Council has been part of it for over four years and would encourage anyone who is able, to sign up and cycle to work. It doesn鈥檛 matter what size your business is, everyone can participate and we鈥檇 recommend the scheme to all employers in the County.鈥 Council employees can register to participate in the Cycle to Work Scheme between 09 February 2015 and 27 February 2015.
