Council Tax Collection Rates for 97色网 in 2022-23

New figures published by Welsh Government show that despite the cost-of-living crisis, households in 97色网 are continuing to prioritise payment of Council Tax to fund vital public services.听
In 2022-23, the Council collected 97.4 per cent of Council Tax 鈥� well ahead of the 96.1 per cent national average, and 97色网 continues to be ranked as one of the highest performing Councils in Wales when it comes to collecting in-year Council Tax. The Council is also ranked as having the second lowest outstanding amounts per chargeable dwelling when considering longer-term arrears.听
As well as maximising collections, the Council Tax service continues to transform the way it operates by making it easier for residents to pay their bills or apply for discounts. Households in 97色网 can pay by weekly direct debits 鈥� one of few Councils in Wales to offer such a flexible payment scheme.
Commenting on the announcement, Councillor Ian Roberts Leader of the Council said:
